I WAS IN MUMBAI.............AGAIN.

                                                             City of dreams... Mumbai.
I have no idea where to begin and what to write about .
Every one have their own words to express about this city. Most people whom
I have came across are in love with this city but I was not so far .
This time I had a different experience and I wanted to stay here,
probably because I was staying inside the IIT Mumbai campus.

A place filled with greenery ,free from traffic noise
and plenty of space to breath in Mumbai is like a bonus point to love this city.
I really loved exploring the campus and feeling it.

green green nd green ---- WAYANAD

A nature beyond comparision, lies in Nilgiri,
in the "God's own Country" - WAYANAD.
If you got bored with your city life, then it is the place to go.
Birds chirp instead of traffic noise,
hill view instead of buildings.
Me and my husband covered this trip in bike, d most adventure part.

I am in Love with this place, so will u by the end of this post,
so go on......
South India is  full of hills and nature so the journey  was full of surprises.

After crossing Gundlupet, the jungle route started and we passed by a dense forest, and all we heard was  chirping of birds . We had  encounters with deer, monkey, peacock and elephant but I wished to see a Tiger or a Lion or something more.

Anthargange @ KOLAR

Hello, I really want people to ask me "how was your weekend ?" because I had a great great and great weekend. Trekking and cave exploration at midnight and above all the bonus was I got to sleep on a rock under open sky of stars; totally loved it.

Anthargange is a beautiful rocky hill range, which is about 1226 mtrs high in Kolar. This place has a lot of caves formed out of rocks.

We started at around 9:30 pm from Lifestyle, Magrath Road with a bunch of other groups and reached Anthargange around 11:00 pm. We started the trekking at around 11:45 after sharing some experience and introducing to each others.

HERITAGE CITY --- MYSORE

+Mysore is the heritage and cultural city of India and ever since I came to +Bangalore, I wanted to visit it. Finally the day has arrived when my co traveler said to me " Lets go to Mysore this weekend". I was super excited when we started in morning around 5 am. The road was too good to drive on it. On the way to Mysore there are many places to see, spend time and one of them is Wonderla. I have not yet been there but I will. Other then that I saw the direction for Innovative film city. While moving towards Mysore I also crossed Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary and Ramnagaram.

Around 7:30 am we reached Mysore and had our breakfast - Poori Sabji. After finishing our breakfast, we went to see +St.Philomena's Church, which was constructed in 1936. We went inside the church and attended the program for some time, then we came out .

A DAY OUT.......BANGALORE

Every weekend I look for places to go out of the city and see something new. Last week I had searched some place and decided visit Ramnagar...... a famous village from a legendary movie Sholay, but at last moment due to my health we couldn't go but then I decided to see the city and explore its beauty.

Sunday was a pleasant day and we left after having breakfast at around 11 am. +Bangalore City has many places to see, it is aptly known as city of gardens and has many art galleries, museums, malls to see. I don't like malls to hangout, its best only to shop.

The first place we visited was -Bugle Rock, in +Basavanagudi. It is a massive rock with an estimated age of 3000 million years. This park is located in the back side of the +temple Bull, which is again a place to see. This temple is dedicated to Nandi bull, the vahana (vehicle) of Lord Shiva. Back to Bugle rock..... it is a lush green park with birds chirping incessantly, making you feel close to nature.

ACCIDENT TO REMEMBER--- MANCHANABELE DAM & SAVANDURGA

One Sunday morning we were up for trekking so we started at 7 am. The destination we chose was Manchanabele Dam and Savandurga. Both of these places very near to Bangalore and one can easily cover both the places in the  same day. It is  approx 60 km from Bangalore. To reach the destination we took Nice road and Mysore road. After going for around 35 kms in Mysore road,  we found a board showing the direction for Savandurga.

It is a narrow road which pass by a locality and followed by beautiful scenario but the road is still narrow and rough. And unfortunately we met with an accident. Lucky me that I controlled myself and did not cried when we were surrounded by local peoples. After resting there for 15-20  mins we started again. The journey wasn't as fun for me after accident as it was in morning when we started. But as we reached Manchanabele dam, i was speechless.

RAIN TRIP TO PONDICHERRY

I am very much excited to share about this one trip. One Friday night we were discussing about beaches and land up deciding for +Pondicherry  while shopping. And next day before sunrise we started for the destination, 4 people and 3 bikes. The journey was perfect via Hosur road to Krishnagiri,

and it became rough when we took NH 66 and it became smooth again when we were some 50 km away from Puducherry. The weather during the journey was unpredictable. It was sunny day but out of nowhere it started raining. Through out the journey it rain for 3-4 times and we had to stop .

We stopped many times due to the rain, at last around 2 pm we reached and it was delight when we were standing in front of +Pondicherry  gate and it was heavy raining. As I have read in book that Pondicherry is best to visit in its rainy season.
