D NEW ME - WHITE

The color of purity, calmness is white. I never really liked or admired this color but then I always land up  buying white for myself. If I count I have a total of 10-12 whites . And recently when I started blogging and reading other blogs I started falling in love with  WHITE. From past few days I am eating my husband's head to paint our house in white. Like many other even I used to think white is difficult to maintain; it becomes dirty easily; but above all white is white, pure, rich, elegant, sophisticates. Fall in love with white like me :

FLOWERS FOR THE HOUSE

Hello Sunday, I waited for you the whole week. My Sundays are either full of excitement for trips or spending lazy time at home. While at home, I like to add colors. Here is my DIY way of decorating flowers in my cozy home.

Believe it or not that jars are not from any fancy decor store but it is my ginger garlic paste jar. After cleaning it fully I used it for adding flowers and colors. The other jar is filled with rose petals and water. And it is ready to place it at any place of your choice

CANVAS AND BRUSH

At first  I wanted to buy painting for my home , but the paintings in art galleries are quite expensive and at that time Nilop,my hubby asked me " why don't you paint something ? ".  So here I am showcasing my work . It is very easy to do and I think anyone who has a free time can do it at home, instead  of buying expensive paintings. For this all you need is Canvas, Colors, Brush, Pencil, Eraser. You can buy canvas from any stationery stores like +Reliance TimeOut , +Staples, +Odessy etc. As per your liking, you can buy respective sizes. Even for colors there are many options available in market. For me, I like to work with poster colors.

FABULOUS FOYERS

There is a saying " First impression is the last impression", so why not make a good first impression over your guest by decorating your 'Foyer' in a fabulous way. A foyer in a house is usually a small entry area by the front door to which other  rooms such as living room, dining room are attached. Since the entryway is what your guest will notice first, so make sure the furniture, color of paint , seat arrangement and decoration   send the right message.

Get inspired from these idea and designs :

ON THE EDGE

A lounge restaurant in the 13th floor of +Barton Center in +MG ROAD, which offers a great panoramic view of Bangalore city skyline. My hubby and me visited this place this past weekend and we truly had an amazing evening over there. When we stepped inside the restaurant, my first reaction was "WOW". The ambiance is great and there will be no second thoughts if you  head there with your love interest.
Food was as fantastic as the ambiance. I happened to read a few comments about the place before going there and one gentleman had recommended the Stuka as a must try. So, we started dinner with Beer and Stuka with Vietnamese Bun Cha Skewers.  For the main course it was Mallca Roti Jala and Curry of Prawns and Thai Chilly Garlic Noodles. Mallca Roti is not a regular roti, it is like a net which is layered and given the  shape of rectangle. I would definitely recommend this Malaysian dish. The food we ordered there was spicy and we enjoyed it thoroughly. At last for the dessert we had Citrus Cream, which melted instantaneously as we had it.
